Ratification by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Contract between the District and Bright Research Group, Oakland, CA, for the latter to conduct background research on successful school wellness programs, conduct field research and key informant interviews, analysis of Wellness Program outcome and activity data, provide technical assistance and evaluation planning to wellness program, develop District Wellness evaluation report, literature review, interviews around best practices with other Districts, facilitation of Health Education Committee, protocol for all elements of CHKS, attend planning meetings, and produce reports around findings, via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, at an additional cost of $31,925.00, increasing the Contract not to exceed amount from $20,200.00 to $52,125.00. All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain in full force and effect.
