| 1 | C.-1 | Oakland Unified School District Services Agreement - Family Violence Law Center - Superintendent of Schools, General Counsel | Agreement or Contract | Approval by the Board of Education of the Oakland Unified School District Services Agreement by and between the District and Family Violence Law Center (“FVLC”), Oakland, CA, for the latter to deliver school-based Gender-Based Violence Specialist (GBVS) services at Oakland High School, Madison Park Academy, Dewey Academy, Oakland Technical High School and Ralph J. Bunche Academy, with one GBVS assigned to each school: 1) with each GBVS offering violence intervention, prevention, mentorship, case management and crisis support services to student survivors of gender-based violence, including commercial sexual exploitation, domestic violence, intimate partner violence, or other forms of gender-based violence; 2) with each GBVS at each school maintaining a minimum caseload of 10 students impacted by gender-based violence; 3) with each GBVS providing referrals, warm hand-offs, and follow-up support for students impacted by gender-based violence who are not enrolled in services; and 4) with each GBVS facilitating weekly trauma-informed support groups for students impacted by gender-based violence, for the term, September 24, 2026, through September 24, 2027, in an amount not to exceed $671,000.00. | | |
