Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2022-2023 by and between the District and The Mosaic Project, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 4th and 5th graders year-round access to Social Emotional Learning and Social Justice curriculum; train teachers, provide hard copies of music to be used in the classroom, plan and present multiple whole-school assemblies and come to 4th & 5th grade classrooms multiple times to give an overview of the culminating end-of-year field-trip and a taste of the work they will engage in; week-long field-trip in April for up to 36 4th and 5th grade students with access to a camp in the Santa Cruz mountains where MOSAIC Project staff lead students through daily activities to build their self-awareness, collaboration skills, and cultural competency and unite children of diverse backgrounds, providing them with essential community building skills, and empowering them to become peacemakers at International Community School, for the perio...
