Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2022-2023 by and between the District and Freedom Soul Media Education, Oakland, CA, for the latter to design and facilitate workshops - the history of education in the US; racism, white supremacy culture in education; the pedagogy and praxis of cultural relevance in elementary schools; the process of making cultural relevance and restorative justice real in our classrooms, curriculum, school culture and policies - and training sessions that focus on culturally relevant teaching, curriculum and program design for staff, as described in Scope of Work, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, at Montclair Elementary School, for the period of July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023, in an amount not to exceed $15,000.00.
