Title
Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2022-2023 by and between the District and Soccer Without Borders, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide:
(1) a program director, education coordinator, and boy's and girls’ soccer coach to
(2) support home visits to students and families;
(3) coordinate a minimum of 16 Wellness workshops;
(4) conduct outreach and screening of all students before entering the program;
(5) plan and coordinate Manhood Development Workshops with the Dean of Students, serving a total of 25 high-risk students in bi-weekly small group sessions;
(6) offer educational workshops and support wellness events in the school community;
(7) support with conflict mediation between and among students, and between staff and students; and
(8) contribute to culture of youth leadership and restorative justice-based community building
at Oakland International High School, for the period of November 1, 2022 through May 25, 2023, in an amount not to exceed $15,000;00.
