Approval by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1, Memorandum of Understanding 2021-2022 (MOU) by and between the District and Student Program for Academic and Athletic Transitioning (SPAAT), Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide nine hours of daily summer academic support and enrichment to OUSD students who are in need of summer services to counter summer learning loss; program activities based on youth development quality standards; work collaboratively with the District Summer Learning and After School Programs Offices to ensure that students in need receive at least nine hours of daily summer learning, enrichment, physical activity, and support services; conduct outreach for summer student recruitment and communicate regularly with families over the summer; fulfill District grant reporting requirements, including submission of summer attendance records; and maintain regular communication with District Summer Learning and After School Programs Offices to review progress on summer program goals for the Summer Learning Program at McClymonds High School; comply with 21st Century Community Learning Centers and Expanded Learning Opportunities Program grant requirements; provide 23 days of programming during Summer 2022, Mondays through Fridays, every school day from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at McClymonds High School, in an additional amount of $16,100.00, increasing the MOU not-to-exceed amount from $50,000.00 to $66,100.00 and extending the term of the Agreement from February 14, 2022 through June 30, 2022 to July 31, 2022.  All other terms and conditions of the MOU remain in full force and effect.
