Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2021-2022 by and between the District and Syntex Global, Inc., Berkeley, CA, for the latter to provide additional or supplemental translation and interpreting services in Arabic, Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Cambodian, or other languages, as needed, if available, upon the District's request, when the District need exceeds capacity or availability of employee interpreters to provide translation services, and to provide technical support service via the Department of Special Education. Translation and interpreting services are required during Individualized Educational Program (IEP) meetings, daily, and at various times, via Special Education Department, for the period of December 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022, in an amount not to exceed $50,000.00.
