her students: provide tools needed to plan integrated projects that incorporate student voice, authentic to students’ culture and interests’ and foster collaborative work; provide resources and space for teacher to process her learning, work through challenges and celebrate her victories so that she can continue to foster a supportive, risk-taking culture in her classes;  provide concrete tools and resources so that students are supported in identifying an authentic problem in their community, developing a driving question, designing a solution or a prototype, gathering data, analyzing their results and presenting their solution to an authentic audience; support with a project timeline, resources, professional development, time and space to brainstorm ideas and develop instructional practices centered around student interest, student materials for projects, and instructional coaching and support, resulting in the project and culminating authentic community reveal showcases the power of decolonial STEM integration due to its depth, student choice and authentic application at Castlemont High School, for the period of November 18, 2021 through June 30, 2022, in an amount not to exceed $10,500.00.
