Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2021-2022 by and between the District and Attitudinal Healing Connection, Inc., Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide support for Middle and High School sites following an event of loss, violence and/or grief by providing Oakland artists and culture keepers who will provide restorative and healing practices to support the school communities to recover via a culturally responsive, arts-centered approach to trauma healing, with Artistic/cultural offerings comprising, but are not limited to, drumming circles, Azteca and West African healing rituals, Second line processions, murals, and interactive altar installations, via Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of October 18, 2021 through May 10, 2022, in an amount not to exceed $20,000.00.
