Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Agreement 2020-2021 between the District and Tierra Knight, Hayward, CA, for the latter work closely with a group of students to guide them through distance learning and ensure that they and their families are engaged with school; ensure that students are forming healthy relationships with peers; will help students build their executive functioning skills, and assist teachers in their virtual classrooms create a welcoming environment; and work with African American students, in particular, on leadership and Black cultural pride throughout the whole school at West Oakland Middle School, for the period of August 20, 2020 through May 31, 2021, in an amount not to exceed $45,000.00.
