Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and John Shurtz, Oakland, CA, for the latter, as part of the Dual Enrollment Program introduction to a skilled trades class, to serve in the dual enrollment and special projects position providing opportunities for students to design and build authentic projects relevant to their lives and the needs of the campus, with this additional support covering instructional gaps in the calendar between Peralta Calendar and the school calendar as well as provide additional time needed to coordinate with high school staff; provide support for students and plan and manage projects; provide special projects in the space that align and connect to other courses on the campus in order to internally develop programs and support the school community through applied learning at Castlemont High School, for the period of August 14, 2019 through June 1, 2020, in an amount not to exceed $7,875.00.
