Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Catholic Charities of the East Bay, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide its Experience Hope Program which addresses school climate, safety, and educational equality using a three-pronged approach: 1) train and coach school communities (students, parents, teachers and staff) on trauma and restorative, trauma-informed responses to student behavior; (2) provide student social-emotional learning groups that promote positive behavior and improve coping skills in response to interpersonal stress; and (3) assess for complex trauma and deliver evidence-based trauma treatment to youth impacted by adverse life events at Skyline High School, for the period of August 10, 2019 through June 30, 2020, in an amount not to exceed $30,000.00.
