Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Lincoln, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide a mental health counselor for students exposed to trauma or other outside challenges that contribute to behavior issues; support teachers with coaching and provide consultation around effective behavioral interventions; and carry a caseload of students that counselor supports around appropriate school behavior, peaceful conflict resolution, and the development of social-emotional skills at RISE Community Elementary School, for the term of October 15, 2019 through May 28, 2020, in an amount not to exceed $5,000.00.
