Title: Approval by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1, Grant Award and Subcontract between District and WestEd, reducing Award by -$53,070.00, from $555,000.00 to $501,930.00, in S. D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation monies, and modification of Scope of Work and Budget Detail, as delineated in said Amendment, to support the California Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) K-8 Early Implementation Initiative for Years 5 and 6 to include participation in the Core Leadership Training, Director meetings, technical assistance, piloting instructional materials, Teacher Leader and Expansion Teacher Programs, Principal Support, and to provide a full-time project director to oversee the program for years 5 and 6, for the term June 1, 2018 through July 1, 2020. All other terms and conditions of the Grant Award and Subcontract remain in full force and effect.
