Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Abinader Group, Oakland, CA, for the latter to conduct four phases of work linked to the Education Program for the new Central Kitchen and Farm (set to be built by Fall 2019); 1) Defining Goals and Vision with internal stakeholders representing the different departments at District (Health & Wellness, Science, Linked Learning, etc.), in order to set stage for additional engagement; 2) Stakeholder engagement with teachers, other school personnel and community partners to map out a plan for The Center; 3) Community engagement--including engagement with students, families and community members' and; 4) Report of results ready for fund development and implementation of the program, via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of March 11, 2019 through June 30, 2019, in an amount not to exceed $25,000.00.
