Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Lauren Traetto, Berkeley, CA, for the latter to provide ongoing Trauma-Informed Arts services to including writing workshops for students, professional development for teachers to lead in-class writing workshops, integration of existing curriculum and arts programs, digital design or 3D printing workshops (integrated with other curricula), project management for student-generated art projects and communication services including: school-wide branding and marketing (as needed); community outreach; social media direction (as needed); outward-facing documentary materials; organization of community trauma support groups for staff or parents (as needed); organization of nonviolent communication/mindfulness workshops, as needed, in partnership with mindfulness, at Frick Impact Academy, for the period of August 13, 2018 through May 31, 2019, in an amount not to exceed $26,000.00.
