Ratification by the Board of Education of Educational Organization Contract re Field Trip between District and Santa Clara County Office of Education, for the latter's Walden West Outdoor School, to provide lodging, meals and hands-on, outdoor education led by trained educators, not possible in a traditional classroom, including hands-on living and learning in an outdoor environment, with lessons in the natural sciences brought to life so that students will develop an understanding and sense of appreciation for the environment and development of a child's social skills, in field classes and cabin groups, by interaction with students from other schools and cultures, aligned with California State Science Standards, as specified in Contract, at Walden West Science Center, for District pupils of Encompass Academy on education field trip, for the time period of March 18, 2019 through March 22, 2019, accompanied by staff and chaperones, at no cost to the District.
