Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and HERO, Oakland, CA, for the latter to develop and implement an organized set of activities designed to improve behavior, self-esteem and leadership skills, including engaging students in a variety of challenging activities that will help to increase their academic achievement, physical/personal and social/emotional growth, as described in the Scope of Work, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, at Sankofa Academy, for the term of August 13, 2018 through May 30, 2019, in an amount not to exceed $30,000.00.
