Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Playworks, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide a full time coach who will facilitate positive play at recess, throughout the school day, and after school, specifically organize activities at recess, run Class Game Time so that each class will have 30 minutes of structured play per week, and offer a Junior Coach Leadership Program that will teach students skills like, leadership and conflict resolution, at Laurel Elementary School, for the period of August 13, 2018 through May 31, 2019, in an amount not to exceed $35,940.00.
