Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Spanish Speaking Unity Council, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide assistance to Latino at risk students in developing stronger academic, behavioral and social emotional skills, by offering accelerated student academic achievement in core curriculum areas; assistance in increasing the graduation rate of Latino young men; targeted intervention for students by engaging teacher, students and families in dialogue around how best to increase student achievement and at-risk students assistance in developing strong academic, behavioral and social emotional skills, at United for Success Elementary School, for the period of August 21, 2017 through June 7, 2018, in an amount not to exceed $10,000.00.
