Title: Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Mills College, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide its teacher scholars professional development program to District, in two key areas: 1) the teachers' capacity to make student thinking visible and use what they learn to refine their instruction, and 2) the capacity to engage in effective adult learning relationships, by providing inquiry sessions for teachers; collaboration with District coaches or teacher leaders to support inquiry work; engage one district administrator in Principal Inquiry, respectively, as described in the Scope of Work, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, for the period April 16, 2018 through June 30, 2018, in an amount not to exceed $27,875.00.
