Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and East Bay Asian Youth Center, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide Academic Mentors for support to scholars during the After School Program including facilitating learning and achievement for a group of 20 middle school students; assisting with homework completion; providing enrichment electives including sports, science, cultural arts, media arts, civic engagement, and college/career education; developing syllabi and lessons plans; collecting student attendance, satisfaction, and impact assessment data; and family learning nights, at Westlake Middle School, for the term August 21, 2017 through June 29, 2018, in an amount not to exceed $15,552.00.
