Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Public Health Institute, Oakland, CA, for the latter to work with students, teachers, district staff, the CHEA Director, Faces for the Future, OSHPD pipeline, and other community stakeholders to implement a pathway for Oakland students into public health careers and careers that support health equity through other sectors impacting social determination of health, such as agriculture, city planning, criminal justice, housing to mention some and perform services/tasks, as stated in the Scope of Work, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, at Castlemont High School, for the period of December 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018, in an amount not to exceed $55,000.00.
