Approval by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1, Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the District and Ujimaa Foundation, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide comprehensive afterschool services to at least 100 students daily until 6 PM and until the last day of school year, as described; support the professional development of the school’s Extended Date Liaison and provide guidance on afterschool program oversight; meet all afterschool lead agency compliance requirements, as described; communicate regularly with school leadership and staff, as described; managed program fee structure and provide financial reports to the principal and Districts Expanded Learning Office, as requested; engage in collaborative program and budget planning for the 20 1718 school year in partnership with school leadership; and lead resource development efforts to bring additional funding and in-kind resources to the school, at Carl Munck Elementary School, for the period of July 1, 2016 through August 20, 2017, in the amount of $24,458.00, increasing the MOU not to exceed amount from $20,000.00 to $44,458.00.
