Approval by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1, Professional Services Contract between the District and Julia DeGuzman, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 200 more hours (from 600 to 800) of service to do a number of tasks to increase parent and community involvement; perform a needs assessment to find out where volunteers are needed; make a database of parents and community volunteers, their skills and availability; work to increase engagement of low achieving students and link school to home to support with communications to help students and families increase academic success, at Oakland High School, in the additional amount of $5,000.00, increasing the Contract not to exceed amount from $15,000.00 to $20,000.00. All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain in full effect.
