Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Mills College, Oakland, CA, for the latter, to provide a Mills Teacher Scholar (MTS) facilitator, who will hold twice monthly department inquiry sessions in order to directly support departments in moving their thinking and practice around literacy; meet one on one with all teachers once per month to check in on their literacy inquiry process and support them in collecting evidence of student learning moving forward, as described; and meet with the principal once per month to overview the work, progress to goals, student literacy data and check in on each teacher's progress in the inquiry cycle process, at Life Academy, for the period of August 22, 2016 through June 9, 2017, in an amount not to exceed $5,500.00.
