Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Michelle Jordan, Oakland, CA, for the latter, along with the teacher, to teach the students how to sing by using the arts; work alongside teachers to teach students songs that help uplift the mind, body, and soul focused on the Common Core Standards in the arts; alongside the teacher, will have students write, sing, and perform music and arts lessons and activities that focus on the Common Core Standards, SEL Standards, and School Climate, and to perform songs at Family Engagement Nights and School Assemblies, at Martin Luther King Jr Elementary School, for the term October 06, 2016 through June 09, 2017, in an amount not to exceed $6,000.00.
