Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and, Carter-Kelly Consulting/Lifepoint, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 720 hours (20 hours per week) of services to parents and students at the school to increase the involvement of parents in helping their low-achieving students to: engage more fully in the instructional and extra-curricular programs of the school; successfully achieve the state standards in core courses and electives; meet the graduation requirements; overcome behaviors that interfere with the accomplishment of these objectives; and experience both academic and socio-emotional developments described in the school's School wide Learner Outcomes and serve as the Student Success Team Coordinator for the school, at Oakland Technical High School, for the period of August 17, 2016 through June 30, 2017 in an amount not to exceed $50,400.00.
