Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Public Health Institute, Oakland, CA, for the latter to oversee curriculum development and stakeholder engagement to include Advisory Board recruitment; designing and developing curriculum and materials for a 9th grade health course as part of pathway Program of Study; building out a work-based learning continuum; leading family engagement activities; developing an evaluation plan; hiring a full-time Program Coordinator starting July 1st; create a set of health pathways competencies that enable students to access internship and work-based learning opportunities; and develop tools such as training documents to support teachers and work-based learning coordinators to interact with health professionals engaged as guest speakers and supervisors on-site, via the Office of Post-Secondary Readiness, for the period of May 2, 2016 through June 30, 2016, in an amount not to exceed $32,183.00.
