Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and VJTV, Oakland, CA, for the latter to create a visual narrative of the Office of African American Male Achievement's Man-up Conferences from 2010 to present by filming the workshops and testimony of the students and mentors who participate in the conferences; gives voice to the impact that the Man-Up Conferences has on the students as well as the adults who support and teach them; highlight the history of the Man-up Conferences as well as show the workshops as the young boys and men participate; develop docuseries to use to educate and engage students, via the Office of African American Male Achievement, for the period of April 29, 2016 through May 31, 2016, in an amount not to exceed $5,000.00.
