Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Fitzgerald Parker Thomas, Alameda, CA, for the latter to provide professional development support to help teachers to design learning opportunities for students to be creative thinkers, decision makers, and problem solvers, in particular design project-based learning tasks that will focus on engineering, creative problem solving, design, and art; consult with ILT and with individual and teacher teams to develop curriculum-integrated projects over a scope of 40 hours of work during non-student time, aligned with the current Common Core Standards and Next Generation Science Standards, at Encompass Academy, for the term March 1, 2016 through June 30, 2016, in an amount not to exceed $2,000.00.
