Ratification by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Contracts between the District and Niam Group, LLC, Oakland, CA, with Malo Hutson, PhD, as the Lead Consultant, in support of the District's Equity Policy (Board Policy 5032) to add 13 focus groups for a total of 27 to reach a broader range of stakeholders and also analyze the content returned in the From The Desk (FTD) survey administered by OUSD and incorporate that analysis into the Engagement report to the Board. Additionally, they will complete individual abstracts for each focus group and an extensive final report to inform the next phase of developing regulations, plan and timeline via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, in the amount of $12,550.00, increasing the contract from $55,000.00 to an amount not to exceed $67,550.00, and extending the Contract term of November 15, 2015 through March 31, 2016 to May 31, 2016.
