Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Arch Education Consultants, Aurora, CO, for the latter to examine District school assessment and college readiness data and conduct school observations with targeted conversations with principals and leadership team, provide systematic and structural support to implement strategies to increase college readiness, drastically increase the number of students enrolling in and passing college level courses (concurrent enrollment and CLEP), introduce conversations to reduce remediation and how to message to schools and their communities, introduce strategies to more accurately gauge high school performance, promote conversations around Concurrent Enrollment and AP courses, promote conversations to better message college pathways, data review with District and school personnel, conduct two days of school visits/meeting with pertinent District and school personnel, meeting/development sessions with school administration team, monthly phone calls (more if necessary) to monitor progress and message results, via the Office of Post-Secondary Readiness, for the period of April 1, 2016 through June 30, 2016, in an amount not to exceed $20,000.00.
