Ratification by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1, Professional Services Contract between the District and Giselle McBride, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 1,296 hours (36 hours per week) of academic intervention for low-achieving students, combined with Basic Interviewing Interventions (derived from Motivational Interviewing evidence-based practice) for students who are identified as using substances on school site or during school hours to reduce students' risk of continued and/or escalating substance use/abuse and as an alternative to suspension, at Oakland Technical High School, in an additional amount not to exceed $10,800.00, increasing the Contact not to exceed amount from $32,400.00 to $43,200.00 and reducing the term of the Contract from August 17, 2015 through June 30, 2016 to June 9, 2016. All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain in full force and effect.
