Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1, Professional Services Contract between the District and Esther Kang, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide an additional 75 hours of service in District's Healthy Oakland Teen Program, i.e., HIV and STD Prevention, assisting with the development of a middle school scope and sequence that is aligned with state and national standards and builds the scaffolding for the high school lessons; assist with the creation and/or adaptation of 5 lessons for 6th grade and 5 lessons for 7th grade that can easily be delivered by trained science teachers, in the additional amount of $3,000.00, increasing the Contract not to exceed amount from $2,000.00 to $5,000.00, via the Health and Wellness Unit, Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of September 14, 2015 through May 30, 2016. All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain in full force and effect.
