Title: Approval by the Board of Education of Amendments to Board Policy - BP 6143 - Instruction - Course of Study and renaming it Board Policy - BP 6143 - Instruction - Grade Level Equivalency to provide that 1) students shall progress through high school grade levels by demonstrating growth in learning and by meeting grade-level standards of expected student achievement, 2) students shall be placed at the appropriate grade level based on the number of credits earned each year in grades 9-12, and 3) school administration may promote a student at any time during the school year when students have earned the minimum number of credits required for advancement to the next grade level.
