Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Michelle Campbell-Mateo, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide restorative justice support as well as mentoring at-risk students, including conducting student, staff, and parent Restorative Justice (RJ) circles, one on one case management, home visits, parent communication, student academic support and supporting teachers facilitate community building and harm circles; work with RJ Coordinator Kyle McClerkins in program design and implementation to aid school's efforts to comply with the District's Voluntary Resolution Plan; mentor and support most at-risk students and help with the data input and tracking of disciplinary data, so the school can engage in cycles of inquiry to gauge the effectiveness of positive school climate strategies at Edna Brewer Middle School, for the period of November 2, 2015 through June 30, 2016, in an amount not to exceed $34,980.00.
