Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Luna Kids Dance, Berkeley, CA, for the latter using the District's Guide: Dance Learning in the 21st Century: a Blueprint for Teaching & Learning Dance Grades K-12(c)2010, Revised, the latter will use the former to integrate Common Core arts standards, to create progressive curriculum aligned with the National Core Arts Standards and work with partner teachers in a side-by-side collaborative model to recover some of the gaps developed in the dance program over the past two years; use goals of the dance program to align with the school goals of improving literacy through the arts at New Highland Academy, for the period of September 1, 2015 through June 9, 2016, in an amount not to exceed $15,000.00.
