Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Heather Manchester, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide a youth engagement program focused on facilitating and increasing youth engagement in Restorative Practices, including recruiting approximately 100 District youth to plan and promote Restorative Practices among peers at participating schools; organize, mentor, train, and empower a smaller cohort of 12 youth facilitators to serve as a Restorative Justice Youth Leadership Council for the District to research and support the continuous improvement of Whole School Restorative Justice; and provide other services as described in the Scope of Work, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of September 21, 2015 through September 30, 2015, in an amount not to exceed $15,000.00.
