Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Cognitive Coaching, Folsom, CA, for the latter to provide Cognitive Coaching eight day Seminar to enhance teacher's cognitive thinking by teaching participants how to develop trust and rapport; develop an identity as a mediator of thinking; utilize conversation structures for planning, reflecting and problem resolving; develop teachers' autonomy and sense of community; develop higher levels of efficacy, consciousness, craftsmanship, flexibility and interdependence; apply four support functions: coaching, evaluating, consulting, and collaborating; utilize the coaching tools of pausing, paraphrasing, and posing questions; distinguish among the five forms of feedback; and use data to mediate thinking, via the Office of Post-Secondary Readiness, for the period September 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016, in an amount not to exceed $10,000.00.
