Title: Approval by the Board of Education of 1) the Charter School Facilities Program ("CSFP") Use Agreement For Education For Change Public Schools - Lazear Charter Academy ("EFC") for the use of the former OUSD School Site, Lazear Elementary School, located at 824-29th Avenue, Oakland, CA 94601 to commence July 1, 2015, for a twenty (20) year term, subject to earlier termination if Education for Change/Lazear's program ceases to operate after a revocation, nonrenewal or surrender of the charter to the granting agency, and all appeals have been exhausted, and two additional terms of ten (10) years, at Facility Use Fee of $112,217 per year for the first 5 years and after construction of the new building, the Proposition 39 rate then in effect, and 2) approval of the MOU with the State of California authorizing EFC, without liability of any kind to the District, to receive funds under the CSFP to build a new school on the Lazear campus which new school facility title under State law shall be h...
