Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Oakland Kids First, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide support to the Community Schools and Student Services Department to ensure youth and adults work in partnership together to transform school culture, and ultimately improving student learning, student experience, and student achievement, via peer to peer academic mentoring and culture keeping at Castlemont, and Oakland High Schools two days a week during the 2014-15 school year, training upper classmen to mentor 9th grade students and perform other services, as described in the Scope of Work, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of January 15, 2015 through June 30, 2015, in an amount not to exceed $23,000.00.
