Ratification by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Contract between the District and Be The Change Consulting, LLC, Oakland, CA, for the latter to build the capacity of the OUSD After School Programs Office and after school lead agency partners to sustain Building Intentional Communities Initiatives (BIC) strategies, practices, and curriculum into future years by providing a four-part train-the-trainer series for a core group of district staff and community partners; support the planning and implementing its first OUSD After School Lead Agency Request for Qualifications process and support district after school staff in writing the RFQ, developing the lead agency evaluation rubric, structuring the application review and scoring process, and training review team members; work closely with the OUSD After School Programs Office to align the Building Intentional Communities learning community with the youth development quality standards that guide the work of the after school programs, as described in the Scope of Work, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, for the period of November 3, 2014 through June 30, 2015, in the additional amount of $30,000.00, increasing the Contract not to exceed amount from $21,225.00 to $51,225.00. All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain in full force and effect.
