Ratification by the Board of Education of Amendment No.1 of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Debra Carter-Kelly, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 143 hours of service as follows: provide outreach to parents, guardians and family members of student referred by COST or Administrator including those within 80% attendance record as well as a grade point average less than a 2.0 by providing approximately 4 hours of information and services to support that family structure,. including: coordinating and delivering information on parent workshops, teleseminars and courses; disseminating information to families that build parent capacity by providing tools and sharing skills to help improve the quality of life through fierce communication strategies and tactics, and other services, as described in the Scope of Work, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, at Oakland High School, for the period October 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015, in an additional amount not to exceed $5,000.00, increasing the Contract not to exceed amount from $5,000.00 to $10,000.00. All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain in full force and effect.
