Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Contract between the District and San Francisco Study Center dba Brothers on the Rise, San Francisco, CA, for the latter to provide the following services: 1) support for best practices with K-3 students; 2) pullout sessions focused on Direct Instruction and practice, as described; 3) focus groups and targeted training workshops with parents and school staff; 4 ) consultancy with administration to coordinate above activities and establish macro-level strategies to address student needs; 5) ongoing research to identify best, emerging and innovative practices for integration into consultancy activities and schools whole school development plan; and 6) production of a report integrating a 2014-2015 school year needs assessment and outline for 2015-2016 whole school development plan to support low performing students at Glenview Elementary School, for the term of February 9, 2015 through June 30, 2015, at a cost not to exceed $10,000.00.
