Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and East Bay Agency for Children, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide a full-time AmeriCorps member to support enhanced academic activities by tutoring identified students performing below proficient in small groups in the classroom for grades kindergarten through second; support the ELL school day teachers by leading students through 1 to 2 phonics centers per class; support the ELL teaches in providing much-needed small group or individualized support that ELL students may need throughout the school year and after school hours specifically support kindergarten students at East Oakland Pride Elementary School, for the period of November 17, 2014 through June 30, 2015, in an amount not to exceed $14,000.00.
