Title: Approval by the Board of Education of a Memorandum of Understanding between the District and The Kenneth Rainin Foundation, Oakland, CA, pursuant to conditions and terms thereof, accepting a grant from the latter in the amount of $286,985.00 to be used toward the District's implementation of the Foundation's SEEDS of Early Literacy Program and governs the Foundation's services to the District's implementation of the Program and the sharing of District data, including pupil identifiable information, for the limited purpose of analyzing date to develop, validate, or administer predictive tests relating to the district's implementation of the SEEDS of Early Literacy Program and assessment transitional kindergarten and pre-kindergarten students' early literacy skills within the District and to improve instruction for children in the District for the 2014-2015 School Year.
