Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Kara deKernion, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide services in the form of teacher consultation during Professional Learning Communities; model lessons; and individual meetings to ensure effective literacy practices aligned with Common Core State Standards; will work with teachers to design effective lessons and interventions where necessary at Sequoia Elementary School, for the term of September 22, 2014 through June 12, 2015, at a cost not to exceed $39,999.88.
