Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Northern California American Orff-Schulwerk Association (NCAOSA), Richmond, CA, for the latter to provide 160 hours of professional development in the Orff Schulwerk Approach to music education, as follows: 120 hours of professional training in the Orff Schulwerk approach to music education for up to 35 District music teachers ensuring that all participating teachers receive Orff Level 1 certification as prescribed by National Orff Schulwerk Association standards; 20 hours of in class coaching and modeling for elementary music teachers; and 20 hours on curriculum materials development aligned to District's elementary music instructional program, for the period of February 4, 2012 through June 30, 2014, in an amount not to exceed $16,000.00.
