Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 2, Professional Services Contract between the District and Kyle McClerkins, Hayward, CA, for the latter to provide an additional 144 hours of direct on-site services for a peer Restorative Justice (RJ) Program by collaborating with site staff to identify and recruit 5-10 peer mediators (11-14 years old) that reflect the racial, ethnic, and academic diversity of the school; organize, create, and design training materials that teach conflict resolution, effective communications, problem solving, and restorative practices, and share same with other Peer RJ coordinators; assist peer RJ leaders to work in pairs to help peers involved in a dispute to resolve differences and repair relationships; coach the peer RJ leaders to conduct an average of 20-35 restorative circles to respond to harm or conflict and support the school site in creating a safe, healthy and supportive school environment, at an additional cost not to exceed $4,320.00,...
